Big setback for Adani in lawsuit against Australian climate campaigner.

In December 2024, the Adani Group suffered a big setback in its four-year lawsuit against climate campaigner, Ben Pennings, in the Queensland Supreme Court. The judge struck out key parts of the lawsuit, saying they were ‘confused’ and ‘embarrassing’. The case attracted widespread condemnation when it was disclosed that the Adani company had hired private detectives to follow members of Pennings’s family.
