The Modi government did not allow the JPC to investigate the Rafale deal. Even the Supreme Court did not hear on this. It is alleged that huge corruption took place in this deal, but it was covered up by not conducting an inquiry. In the 2019 elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made it a big issue. Questions were also raised regarding the inclusion of Anil Ambani's company in the deal by replacing HAL, but there was no hearing anywhere. Now eminent journalists Pranjay Guha Thakurta and Ravi Nair have raised the issue again by writing a new book.
The book 'Flying Lies' claims that there has been huge corruption in this deal. There is also evidence of a money trail in this, but the government is not conducting the investigation. The whole issue has been understood in this video by talking to both writers.

इस किताब ‘फ्लाइंग लाइज़’ में दावा किया गया है कि इस डील में भारी भ्रष्टाचार हुआ है। इसमें मनी ट्रेल के भी प्रमाण हैं पर सरकार जाँच नहीं करा रही है। इस वीडियो में दोनों लेखक से बात करके पूरे मसले को समझा गया है।
