Booth Level Officers (BLOs), who are employees of the West Bengal government, are harassing voters in the state. Nevertheless, the Bharatiya Janata Party is confident of coming to power in West Bengal for the first time. These are some of the claims made by Shishir Bajoria, industrialist and member of the executive committee of the BJP in the state, in an exclusive interview with Paranjoy Guha Thakurta. Before he joined the BJP after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of India, Bajoria was a member of the Communist Party of India-Marxist and a confidante of former Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Somnath Chatterjee.
