Facebook is selective in blocking hate speech, fake news and inflammatory posts, especially anti-Muslim content, in India, new internal papers accessed by 17 US media organisations, including the Associated Press, have revealed.
Research conducted from 2019 to March 2021 states that Facebook neither has an algorithm to tackle these issues nor does it want it to end hate speech on its platform.
