Advertorial: Selling News or Products? (2009) is a half-hour documentary film that examines the “commodification” of news and how commercial considerations have adversely impacted democratic ideals of objective journalism. The film was directed by Paranjoy Guha Thakurta and produced by the Public Service Broadcasting Trust. The film was broadcast by Doordarshan (Main) in November 2009.
