Employee Directors Could Have Curtailed Bad Loans

In an interview with Newsclick, Devidas Tuljapurkar, Joint Secretary, All India Bank Employees' Association, who blew the whistle on the scandal related to unpaid loans by companies in the group headed by fugitive Vijay Mallya, argues that the presence of employee-directors on the boards of public sector banks could have checked the rapid rise of non-performing assets (NPAs).
