Did EC Fail to Curb Fake News During Lok Sabha Elections?

The Election Commission of India and the government do not seem to be interested in curbing the spread of fake news on the social media which has had an impact on the country's political life. Much needs to be done to regulate flows of online disinformation, say senior journalist Pamela Philipose and chief executive of Common Cause, Vipul Mudgal.
