The Bharatiya Janata Party will find it difficult to dislodge the Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. She is a fighter and understands the sentiments of the people of the state better than the leaders of the BJP. Despite the partisan way in which the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter roll has been conducted, she has an edge over her political opponents.
